The year 2025 was a landmark year for the AIDC Technologies Association of India, marked by expansion, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to knowledge sharing and industry development. Under the dynamic leadership of President Mr. Ajay Sharma, the association undertook a series of initiatives and events that strengthened its presence across India, empowered youth, and facilitated collaboration among industry leaders.

January – February 2025: Setting the Stage

The year began with renewed energy as Mr. Ajay Sharma continued his second tenure as President of the AIDC Technologies Association of India. The newly formed Executive Committee prepared a calendar of activities aimed at expanding the association’s reach and impact. Diaries and calendars for 2025 were distributed to all members, ensuring everyone was aligned with the upcoming initiatives.

March 1, 2025 – North Zone Meet, New Delhi

Venue: Hotel Crowne Plaza, New Delhi

Attendees: 130 members from 65 companies

Highlights:

  • President Ajay Sharma delivered an inspiring opening address.
  • Presentations on AIDC in Healthcare (Mr. Bijoy Peter) and E & Q Commerce (Prof. Mrityunjay Kumar).
  • Sponsor showcases facilitated direct engagement and collaboration.

Outcome: Successful networking and knowledge-sharing among industry members.

For the first time, our Association expanded its reach beyond Metro Cities—venturing into the North with Chandigarh and the West with Surat.

April 26, 2025 – First Regional Meet (North), Chandigarh

Attendees: 57 participants from 41 companies

  • Panel discussion on challenges faced by Tier-2 cities.

June 8, 2025 – Inauguration of AIDC Gurukul, Kolkata

Purpose: Empowering underprivileged youth through free AIDC technology training.
Leadership: Led by VP (East) Mr. Srikantantan.
Outcome: Nationwide job placements provided for graduates, reflecting AIDC’s commitment to skill development and social impact.

June 21, 2025 – West Zone Meet, Hotel Novotel

Attendees: 135 participants from 65 companies

Highlights:

  • Energetic networking and collaboration sessions.
  • Discussions on industry trends and practical applications of AIDC technologies.

Outcome: Enhanced industry connections and regional knowledge sharing.

Surat Regional Meet – Empowering Regional Growth

Focused on knowledge-sharing in sectors such as Textiles, Diamonds & Jewellery, E-commerce, and Logistics.

Discussions on challenges beyond metro cities provided actionable insights for regional development.

South Zone Meet – Professional Excellence

President Ajay Sharma delivered a dynamic and inspiring keynote speech.

Event concluded with a vote of thanks by VP (South) Mr. Nagesh Nayak, leaving a strong impression on participants.

Driving India’s Smart & Automated Future: Highlights from SmartTech Asia & Factory Automation Expo 2025

SmartTech Asia 2025 and the Factory Automation Expo 2025 in collaboration with AIDC Technologies Association of India were two premier industry events in India offered unmatched opportunities for networking, learning, and sourcing innovative solutions. SmartTech Asia, held at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai on February 13–14, focused on identification, authentication, smart cards, digital payments, AI, IoT, and cybersecurity. VIP buyers engaged with top suppliers through a Buyer-Seller Forum, enjoyed exclusive networking privileges, and explored cutting-edge innovations from 150+ exhibitors and 7,000+ delegates. The flagship conference, executive forums, and thought leadership series provided insights into global trends and emerging technologies.

The Factory Automation Expo, co-located with the Process Automation Expo in Pune from November 21–23, 2025, showcased advanced manufacturing and automation technologies across aerospace, electronics, packaging, F&B, and more. With global participation and a dedicated conference on “India 2030: Smart, Scalable & Competitive Manufacturing,” AIDC members enjoyed a 20% discount at the AIDC Pavilion. Both events highlighted innovation, collaboration, and growth in technology-driven industries. Our president was the guest of honour at the event.
